September 2011 – April 2012: Barely Getting By

This was an extra tough year for me because of several reasons: 1) my  two oldest kids (drivers) moved away, 2) from Sept-May my husband was only home a total of 8 weeks (he is an inspector on the Alaskan Pipeline), 3) my back recovery was slow. I spent at least one or two visits a week at some kind of health care office.

Between taking care of the 4 kids left at home and myself, I had no extra time left in the day to write or blog .

June 2011: Final Workshop for DiSemblance

After spending three months focusing on blogging, I returned to my novel for the final time.  Richard Norgard flew in from Ohio to join Rischele Huntington and I. Our writers group finished work-shopping our novels. Unfortunately, I hurt my back at the beginning of June playing racquetball.  I spent most of the month flat on my back.Continue Reading
